“I have had my cars serviced by the
Gebbie family owned and operated business for the past 20 years.
I have used other service centers in the area. However, Gebbie's
is my favorite. They answer all of my questions and do only
the work that is necessary. They also advise me on future potential/expected
service needs according to their experience by make and model.
I consult with them when buying a new or used vehicle. They
take the time to review their reasons for certain recommendations.
They don't hesitate to recommend a new vehicle when they think
the price and quality of the car is excellent even though they
realize that I probably will use the new car dealership for
service until it is out of manufacturer's warranty. These folks
have a great sense of humor, they're efficient, and they serve
a number of varieties of free coffee blends while my car is
being serviced. They are always busy, but they will take a
few minutes for a friendly chat and they treat every customer
in a respectful manner. It’s not uncommon for the mom
and dad, who started the business many years ago, to stop by
to lend a helping hand to their children who now manage and
run the business. The Gebbie's somehow manage to combine their
up to date technical knowledge, equipment, and mechanical expertise
to create some of the nostalgia of the past which is built
on good old honest and knowledgeable service. The cost of repair
is on par with what most auto repair services charge in this
locale. I can count on getting a competent repair or service
interval work done to specification and they use high quality
parts. They also can frequently give several service options
depending on one's budget and service needs. Although their
humor isn't as funny as "car talk", each family member
has a different personality and I've have a good share of laughs
and interesting stories when visiting their service center.
FYI, Tom Gebbie is the service manager. I'm glad to recommend
this service center to others who live in this area.”
